For starters I’m 6’0 tall 38 inch waste and 31 inch Inseam had a few beers in my time. The pants themselves are great quality very comfortable and I would definitely recommend. The only reason for not giving 5 stars is it seems the length is also 38 inch or more inseam I guess I’m supposed to be 7 ft tall. The pants are so long they go all the way past my feet and over my toes. I will have to spend the money to have them tailored. But they def need to move away from one size thing and move to a U.S. system. For example 32/30 or 38/30
It's hard to explain, but these feel super soft yet durable at the same time. Definitely the best riding jeans out there. Would recommend
My husband loves these. This is his 4th pair and he researched like crazy before buying these. Fit , quality and safety all covered with these. Can’t beat the price. Thank you NBT!
I tried the 32" waist Aramid reinforced edition pants since I can wear 32" jeans, but am really a 31" in jeans. The pants fit on the waist more than the hips where jeans ride. I ordered 30" waist and they fit fine, not too much waist slop. I also ordered a textile clamp buckle belt so I can get an exact cinch fit at the waist. The "riding jeans aren't jeans, though. They are a stretch type textile pant, which is fine and they fit snug to your legs so no flapping around in the wind. Far more forgiving in movement than jeans too.
The knee armor is in the right place if you fit it in the right knee pockets and with the right waist size. There is a little lower pocket they need to slip into. The 32" ride too low and the knee armor is too low, but that's not the pants fault, but the size which is in two-inch increments. Hip pads fit easily in the hip pockets. Neither armor is intrusive to comfort since they are flexible plastic mesh breathable armor. The pants are reasonably long, too. So riding doesn't pull the leg bottoms half way up your calf. I'd say the thirty-two inch leg measurement is shy of how mine fit, seem nicely longer than that and inch or so.
The zipper is shorter in length to what is typical and I feel the quality of that part is poor relative to the rest of the pants. I noticed the zipper quality right away. I hope it just feels bad but isn't. The double waist security system, one snap and one button, is nice.
The leg pockets are a benefit. I have few cubbies on my motorcycle and the thigh pockets allow storage for stuff like a cell phone plugged into the USB dash socket. There is also a hip located key pocket. The extras are decent and more like cargo pants than jeans as far as pockets go.
Order smaller than your "hip" size as these are stretch and ride higher than proper fit jeans. Measure you waist and get close to that but not larger. The pants are comfortable but do feel loose in the rear unless I use a belt. The weight of all the textile and armor suggest they won't stay up without a belt on my behind. These aren't to my way of thinking light weight. Add the textile with clamp belt buckle to hold everything up and it's all good to go. I ordered a second set so I have a black and also a blue pair to rotate through the wash.
I looked a long time for riding jeans and am happy with what I found in this model of pants.
I like the pants but the material isn’t very stretchy, so get your size. Wish it had inseam length choice, but the material seems sturdy. The kneepads were moving too much so I removed them to put my other external kneepads. Overall, great.
