Stalwart Straight Leg Jean
black / 30 / 30
Customers praised these protective riding jeans as "super comfortable" and "very lightweight" with excellent quality materials. The fit runs slightly large, with several noting true-to-size accuracy while others recommend sizing down. Knee armor positioning is inconsistent—some found it perfect when riding, others reported it sits too low. Notable strengths include style that "looks just like regular jeans" and outstanding customer service for exchanges.

I went down a couple weeks ago wearing these jeans and they quite literally saved my butt after sliding for about 50 feet on asphalt. The inner lining held up perfectly and I didn’t even get a scratch. I will 100% be buying these again
NBT motorcycle jeans and hoodie are a solid win across the board. The comfort stands out immediately—they feel broken-in right away without that stiff, bulky feeling you get from a lot of riding gear. The quality is just as impressive, with durable materials and construction that give you confidence on the bike while still holding up for everyday wear. Style-wise, they hit the mark perfectly—they look like regular jeans, not overly “motorcycle,” so you can wear them anywhere. Overall, great blend of comfort, quality, and clean style. Definitely a pair I keep reaching for.
These jeans were great. I have muscular quads and calf so it’s hard to find jeans that fit and that are comfortable. The straight fit and stretchy fabric on these were awesome. These jeans did not disappoint they fit perfectly. They are stylish enough I would even take the armor out and wear them when I wasn’t riding. The hidden out side zipper pockets made it so easy take out and put in the armor to wash them or to just sport them around town.
I speak in the past tense since they had to be cut off me when I was in a wreck. The paramedic even asked “what are these jeans made out of” cause he was having a hard time cutting through them. They definitely did their job cause I didn’t have a since scratch on my legs. My wrist and shoulder weren’t so lucky.
I definitely recommend the jeans for any one looking for comfortable, stylish, and protective riding gear. I will definitely be buying these again when I’m backing riding again
Like the title says it took my ordering 3 different kevlar lined riding pants to find one that actually fits, is comfortable, and breathable. Rode it today in 90 degree weather in TN and the only time I actually started heating up was when I was stopped in direct sunlight but that's any pants you wear which makes this all the better.
Involuntarily tested my Stalwart pants. Worked wonderfully. What could have destroyed my knee was limited to a bad burn without severe damage. Will absolutely purchase more and different products from NBT as soon as I can afford more. Have yet to try any jackets or hoodie. I know now it would be worth the investment when possible. Great job!
I do really love the look and feel but after just 2weeks the strap to attach to a belt has hole in it where the button should be but no button
So for me, I ride a Harley Davidson and would look kind of awkward wearing a full body racing suit just to be protected. I am always on the go, and I like to stop by establishments on my motorcycle. When I saw these pants, I knew I had to get me a pair. They are casual, comfortable and offer more protection than my regular everyday jeans I wear. I have the option to remove the padding and still wear them as casual gear. With the added safety on these particular pants , I wear them not only for my everyday activities but every time I hope on a bike. I look casual and I have a sense of safety knowing that incase I go down which I have before with no padding. I will be much better protected and avoid at least that nasty road rash. Customer Service is also amazing. I shop not only for the product but for the Service I get as well. Love the Stalwart Jeans! I also own a Bomber Jacket and a Sweater which are by far a great product both in style and security
I have worn these pants on numerous rides. I am also guilty of dropping the pads and wearing them out and about a few times. They really are comfortable.
I really like the fit and comfort of these pants. They look good on and off the bike and I even feel comfortable wearing them out for date night. My only concern is that after two uses the zipper on the left leg knee pad compartment has wore out and I can't close the pocket anymore.
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are glad to hear that you are enjoying the fit and comfort of our Stalwart Straight Leg Jeans. It's great to know that they are versatile enough to wear on and off the bike, even for date night!
We apologize for the issue you experienced with the zipper on the left leg knee pad compartment. We take quality very seriously and would like to make this right for you. Please reach out to our customer service team and we will be happy to assist you with a solution.
Thank you for choosing our product and we appreciate your feedback.
Feel soft and flexible. Ordered a 32/30 per chart to give a little room for layering. Used a clothing tape to measure and showed a little bigger than a 38. Extremely large as if they were miss printed in the tag. Even with a belt they are hard to keep up. I would guess I’d need a size 26/30
The pants overall feel like good construction and quality I will say though:.
When I first opened my package, there were a number of loose threads and one of the knee pad zippers got stuck. Upon initial fitting the pants felt like they would fit well.
This leads me to my point, after a few days of wearing the pants, they just didn’t really feel to fit right after riding in them and walking around. I generally wear a 36 but purchased the 34s, even these were too big. Even though I carry and have my holster inside and a solid gun belt, the pants still felt a bit too baggy and the heaviness of the pants still felt like they were falling down and puffy in the legs, not as slim/straight leg as I’d like. In addition, the knee pads don’t really want to stay in place due to the baggy fit.
You’ll likely want to size down a bit.
I’m probably and idiot or stupid but I found the sizing chart and size bot to be kinda contradictory.
If I measured my pants the way the chart describes then it sets me at a 38, but the bot was recommending 30’s. I split the difference and went with the 34/30s
If I could return them I’d prolly try 32’s before I gave up. However that is not an option at this point due to the return policy strictness. - we accidentally tossed the packaging during house cleaning. So I’m just kinda SOL.
I did like the hip padding and stretchiness of the pants. I was interested to see how they held up during the Az summer heat.
At this point I’m hoping to find a tailor in Az and hope they can make them fit better.
Hope this helps someone… embarrassing as it is: I included a photo. As you can see the 34’s are still loose and me and weight of the material def makes them wanna pull down.
My intial belief was that it wasn’t gonna be so bad, but after about 2-3 days it’s just not comfortable or confident feeling, especially with the knee armor sloshing around.
If you do email customer support, it’s an AI bot, so just be aware of the delay it might take to get a human.
Tl; DR
Definitely size down, and make sure they fit snuggly. As soon as you were them out, they are yours.
I’d be interested to try a smaller size.

Great quality, the fit is perfect true to size and very comfortable
My partner and I both wear these jeans when we ride. We have found them to be very comfortable. As women, it can be pretty challenging to find good gear that fits and looks good. We feel confident that the gear is actually protecting us in case of a wreck. NBT offers excellent customer service as well.
