These motorcycle jeans look, feel, and fit absolutely perfectly. After purchasing 5-6 pants from NBT and several from other brands, these are probably the best protective jeans I have worn, with the perfect combination of safety and comfort. BUT...the left knee armor insert was sewn on the BACK OF THE PANT LEG!!!
I'm very "torn" about NBT as a company. Their clothes feel extremely comfortable and look great, but the quality control is complete garbage.
1) Jeans purchased for my partner and her button popped off on day one.
2) Leggings purchased for her as well, and the seam at the crotch area ripped upon trying them on and lifting her leg over the bike on day one. On top of that, a replacement in her size 4 is out of stock now.
3) and finally these men's jeans with the knee armor insert sewn on the back of the leg, not at the knee.
COME ON NBT!!! I want to love you guys, and have already spent thousands of dollars on your pants, gloves, belts, etc., but this quality control issue is not a one time aberration and is obviously a systemic issue. You make returning or exchanging your pants relatively easy, but don't have options in stock and the customer has to go through all the steps of returning and waiting for replacements over and over again.
I’m happy to say that these are my new favorite jeans to wear when I ride. They look like any other stylish jeans but of course with the armor for protection and great material, also super comfy. 10/10 I recommend!
I just bought the Stewart strait leg pants and this are pants I’ve been waiting for , my **** dose not look loose and bunched up the fit is spot on I bought the black ones , but now I want the blue jean ones too cuz the fit is perfect can you make these in olive green that would be great
These are a massive step up from the v1 pants, which I already liked bc of the fit and style, but they ran big and didn’t have an AA rating. These 2.0 are my favorite fitting riding jeans, as they come the closest to the Levi’s 513’s I wear every day in terms of fit and style, and with v2.0 fit much truer to size (I’m 6’0”, 180lbs, and wear 32x32). These are just slightly more roomy than my Levi’s, which I don’t mind for comfort on the bike and ability to fit a base layer under them in colder weather. For all of these attributes, and achieving AA rating I would give them 5 stars. Stylish, comfortable, and rated for the slide. My issue is with the knee protection. Where the knee guards slide into the knee pocket from the front there are options for how high or low they sit which is great, but they easily move side to side and end up sitting at the insides of my knees. The pocket needs to be tighter or have some sort of Velcro. I’ve rectified this with heavy duty command strips to stop it from moving around, but for the price and AA rating having knee armor that doesn’t protect the knee is frustrating. That being said , they’re still my favorite pants for the look and comfort and putting in some rigging keeps the armor in place. I still recommend them, especially if you tend to prefer a slim straight Jean. I can wear them around casually and get compliments on the fit and look, even with armor no one notices they are riding jeans.
TLDR; stylish, comfortable, well fitting AA rated jeans but the knee protectors take some work to stay in place.
The riding pants are comfortable and soft. Definitely a great purchase. Only downside is, when I got the pants the knee zipper on the right leg was poorly stitched. So I can no longer open the zipper to adjust the pad. Honestly upsetting.
