The jacket is great and looks good and its not to hot on rides the wind comes tho nice can get hot at the stoplight on top of a 200 degree spot bike lol but I will take that any day for the protection it provides and I bin complemented on the jacket multiple times once people figured out, it's actually a riding jacket. Not just a jacket would recommend it to any rider that wants the protection and still look good too only reason for 4 stars is my jacket was defective, didn't have the waterproof zippers or pockets but NBT made it rit and sent me a new one win I i brought it to there attention
This is the only rating I am comfortable giving at this time. I just received my jacket today. The overall quality of the gear is impressive. I haven't worn the gear yet so I can not attest to the breathability of the gear. First ride soon come.
The zip up is a nice weight and will work well above 60 degree- I also tried it around 78 degree and it was ok- when riding it does have some airflow

Love the Zip Up hoody! I tried their pull over hoody couple of years ago and it was heavy, boxy a pain to take off/on. I’m 5’9 ~190lb, 45” chest and 31” waist muscular and lean. Large zip up hoody is a perfect fitted look. I live in Hawaii so I don’t layer. I ride with just a tshirt under. The hoody is breathable, comparable to my Klim Marrakesh. NBT forgot to put the armor in; I emailed them and NBT got back to me very quickly and FedEx 2day air the armor to me! For those wondering d30 ghost armor level 2 does fit in the shoulders and elbows.
Was looking forward to giving this a try, then when it arrived, I couldn't even attempt to get my arms in the sleeves as they were so small. Got the hoodie in the same size and it fits fine, I don't know what the deal is with the zip up version.

I bought this sweater for safety and aesthetic.
The fit is really good, better than the pants. Their mediums run larger than other manufacturers. I am 5'8" with a 46 in chest. I've lost 30lbs recently, and I was temped to get the large, but the medium fit is on point. The pads are good quality, but the elbow pads slip up the lateral side of my arms, and they require frequent adjustment. I believe they will fit better over time.
The black color used in these fabrics along with the texture creates a very black, black. So if you're into that--and I am--this is a nice color. The loops within the sleeves are a bit long but otherwise appear functional. This is something easily talored on my own.
I’m 6’2” and 185. I started with an XL, as I always need the extra length. I did an exchange and landed on the large which fits perfectly. I am not disappointed in the least. The material feels good and for what it is (a hoodie), it seems bulletproof…or pavement-proof.
Every interaction with customer service was without peer. Not just friendly but extremely helpful.
I've taken it out for a few rides now and I love the hoodie. Its more comfortable and breaths better than my Alpinestar jacket. I ride in 90+ degree weather in the summer. In stop and go traffic you will sweet but as long as you're moving the hoodie breaths really well. I was also able to fit my level 2 back armor in the hoodie. I used their sizing algo and it recommended a large. I'm 5'9" and 190 lbs with low body fat. The large fits baggy on me but I can make it work. If I were to buy again I would get a medium for a better fit. Would I recommend this hoodie? Definitely.

I absolutely love this riding hoodie so much it fits super comfortable I ended up getting a man's medium and it is like the perfect bagginess very comfortable fit material is super super soft and I feel protected without feeling overheat it. love it so much
Most comfortable riding hoodie out there. Even in the hot summer weather. Not riding? No problem, remove the armour and wear it to work, school, anywhere.
Size fits great. Light weight plus the zipper lets you keep cool on hotter days.
I've owned a ton of different riding gear over the last 20 years and this has hands down been my favorite jacket. Light weight, functional, great protection, and the armor pockets don't chafe like a lot of other stuff I've had. Even in 90 degree heat this thing is barely noticeable. Pockets work well and kept my phone dry in a massive down pour. I'll end up wearing this through fall just as a sweatshirt. Absolutely recommend!
