I would absolutely recommend buying 11/10. I was riding in the rain (I know I know) hydroplaned slid 20ft on my chest and arm not a scratch on me and it barely scuffed up the hoodie. Definitely worth it in my opinion still have my skin on my body and that’s what counts. Not to mention it allows pretty good airflow and feels good to wear kinda like a weighted blanket.

We bought Bodyguard 2.0 Hoodies for my wife, our 16 year old son, and myself for Christmas. Our son went down on his 2001 GSX-R 750 and his hoodie held up amazing!!!! It was a nasty crash and the bike is totaled but his upper body was protected by your hoodie. He slid between 30-40 feet and it did not wear through. His helmet did its job, his boots did their job, his jeans wore through a little but did pretty good, however, your Bodyguard 2.0 held up so well we couldn't believe it!!!!

Good quality riding hoodie. Just be careful to not stain the lighter colored on. Very comfy, pockets are great. I will say, first wash I saw the hood stiches stretched. Could just be my washer hence why I am not fully blaming the hoodie. For the price and city cruising i think its perfect and comes with removable padding so you can choose your own comfort to safety ratios :)

This review is not reflecting the product itself, I'm sure the hoodie is great. I ordered this last week and pay the extra money for expedited shipping. I wanted to get this as soon as possible because the weather has been extremely hot and the black one I have feels like a sauna in the sun.

The order was delivered and when I opened the bag the wrong item was sent. It had the zip up jacket instead of the hoodie. I sent an email and before NBT would even send the correct item, I had to go out of my way to print a return label and go to a fedex drop off and return the incorrect item.

I asked if I could be compensated at all like giving me a refund on the shipping I paid for plus additional refunds for the inconvenience but instead all I was given was a discount code for my next purchase which is not what I am looking for.

Im 5'7 at avg 195-200lbs. I bought a LARGE and upgraded armour to AXIAL CE Level 2 all around. The hoodie seems well built, good stitching, and has some weight but not heavy. Air good thru very well, but once you stop and stand the heat catches up. A YKK Heavy Duty Zip-Up would be interesting with a textile liner added to it, something close to Alpinestars Chrome Super Airflow Hoodie. So far I enjoy my hoodie over an air vented jacket due to intense heat in NYC. Night riding is amazing.

I was very impressed with the quality of the sweatshirt. The shirt itself without the armor is heavy, it weighs as much as my summer leather jacket. With the armor in its as heavy as my regular riding jacket. The stitching and quality of materials seems really good. I have had a couple riding sweatshirts before and neither had the solid feel of this one.

I'm too Big/Tall. 6ft6 295 for reference xxxl is just slightly too small.

My son really liked the sweater. He said he doesn’t get hot in it.

The first thing I noticed as I unboxed this hoodie was the quality. You can feel the weight of its protective, yet comfortable material. Don't mis understand me, when you are wearing it, you feel just like you're wearing an everyday hoodie. What I mean by "weight," is that this isn't just some cheap hoodie with armor inserts, this is exactly what is advertised; a high quality piece of protective gear that doesn't look or feel at all like protective gear.
I don't have a car so I go everywhere, and do everything on my electric unicycle. It is so nice to have a casual and comfortable option to ride in without compromising my safety. I can honestly tell you that after putting on this hoodie, and the EndurTech jeans, I felt fully confident riding around town and on the highway.
If you are wondering about size, I am just under 6' and quite slim; the large fits perfect. Enough room to not be tight, not too much room to be terribly baggy.
If you are also looking into the pants, the 30-34 fits me great.
I am fully satisfied in my purchase can say as a satisfied customer it's worth the money.

I was involved in a hit and run where I was brake checked, and thrown off my bike merging on the freeway after impact. Because of this hoodie, the most I have is a little bit of road rash on your lower back and a torn AC joint. If it wasnt for this hoodie, I would've definitely gotten off a lot worse, NBT makes amazing products and I will gladly purchase their gear again once I'm healed up and ready to ride. This is whats left of the hoodie(EMT had to cut it off).
