My Favorite Trip with NBT - Tail of the Dragon

Riding in the mountains, cruising through state forests and open roads I wore my NBT hoodie, and straight leg jeans and they were absolutely perfect for the ride. I was comfy and protected, but even better they kept me warm up in the mountains and not too hot down in the open in the sun. Aramid is a synthetic fiber that's used a lot for protective gear because it's extremely resistent to abrasion (protects against road rash). It's a TensileTough™ fabric that's used in applications like bullet proof vests and aerospace.

Go with the LTR Aramids -- little bit cheaper but almost same protection. Flannel IMO is the most versatile and is fully lined with Aramid. Grab a pair of gloves and you're good to go (obviously buy a helmet).
