Kids don't wear gear that looks like gear. This fits like the hoodie already on their floor and is just as comfortable. Soft cotton face, single layer, no stiff liner fighting him.

CE AA isn't a badge we printed. It's a result. An independent European lab — a notified body — tests the finished garment against EN 17092-3:2020 and grades it.
Three tests, all on the garment itself.
- Abrasion — the fabric is run against a rough surface at speed until it wears through, and they time how long it holds.
- Seams — pulled until they let go.
- Tear — how easily a hole becomes a bigger one. The garment is split into zones, and every zone has to clear the bar for its class. Miss one and the whole thing drops a grade.
This hoodie came back AA on all three. AA is the tier written for road speeds — a Class 3 e-bike tops out at 28 mph.

What are the classes of e-bike?
Three classes, and they are not the same machine. Class 1 assists only while you pedal and cuts out at 20 mph. Class 2 has a throttle and can move without pedalling, also capped at 20. Class 3 assists only while pedalling, cuts out at 28 mph, and has to carry a speedometer.
Only 26 states use this system at all, so what is legal, who can ride it and where changes by state. Some high-power or modified bikes fall outside the bicycle classes entirely and get treated as a moped or a motorcycle.
What does "CE certified" mean?
CE stands for Conformité Européenne, a European standard that measures how well protective gear performs under impact, abrasion, and other real-world riding conditions. A CE certification means the product has been tested and certified against strict performance benchmarks for rider safety.
What's the difference between A, AA and AAA?
CE ratings use a sliding scale from A up to AAA. A provides essential protection for lighter rides with reinforcement at key hot spots like shoulders, elbows, and knees. AA offers advanced protection for most road riding, adding hot spot reinforcement to the hips for broader lower-body coverage. AAA is the highest level, designed for the toughest conditions.
Who tests and certifies it?
Independent certification labs that specialize in motorcycle safety equipment are the only organizations authorized to certify products like NBT's as CE certified. These labs follow the established European safety standard EN 17092.
Does this replace a helmet?
No, and nothing does. A helmet is the first thing you buy and the one that matters most. This is abrasion resistance and impact pads for the parts that hit the road and keep going — arms, shoulders, back. It doesn't replace a helmet, training, or a bike that fits him.
